How long does it take to build the site?
About seven business days of build time for a standard site, once your content is ready. Larger sites with collections or custom integrations take longer, and we tell you the timeline before you pay anything. The speed comes from the foundation being built already: hosting, performance, and search plumbing. The design on top is drawn for you, never reused.
What does the monthly fee cover?
Hosting, security, backups, and monitoring. You make content changes yourself with the editor, which comes with it. Or choose care, $40 more a month for the base site, and we make routine edits for you within fair use, up to 1 hour a month. New pages, features, and redesigns are quoted separately.
Can I edit it myself?
Yes, and it costs less. Log in and change text, photos, prices, and hours instantly, without being able to break the design. Need us for one? It's $75 an edit, or choose care and send changes through our request form, included up to 1 hour a month.
Is this a template?
No. The foundation under every site is the same, which is why we can build in a week. The design on top is drawn for your business, and it can go as far as you like: animation, effects, custom illustration.
Can't I just build my website myself with AI?
Yes, you can build a website yourself with AI, but then you are responsible for hosting, security, speed on phones, search setup, redirects from your old addresses, and every update after launch. Our founder has built websites for 25 years, and many of the details that matter are ones an AI won't catch unless you know to ask for them.
Do you use AI to build websites?
Yes, Beautiful & Fast uses AI throughout the build, inside a process built on 25 years of making websites. Before design starts, we document who the site is for, the steps we want visitors to take, your voice, what each page should be found for, and more. The look comes from our founder's own design eye, refined over years and kept current, and we review and refine everything the AI produces.
Do I own the site?
Yes. Ownership transfers when the build fee is paid, or after twelve monthly subscription payments. After the minimum term, you can leave with the design, content, and code.
Do you work with businesses outside your area?
Yes. We are based in Greenville, South Carolina, and work with businesses anywhere. Everything happens over email and video: the brief, the design review, and the revisions. Nothing in the build needs us in the same room, so where you are makes no difference to the timeline or the price.
