How long does it take to build the site?
About seven business days of build time for a standard site, once your content is ready. Larger sites with collections or custom integrations take longer, and we tell you the timeline before you pay anything. The speed comes from the foundation being built already: hosting, performance, and search plumbing. The design on top is drawn for you, never reused.
What does the monthly fee cover?
Hosting, security, backups, monitoring, and routine content edits within fair use, up to two hours a month. Text, photos, prices, and hours all count as routine. New pages, features, and redesigns are quoted separately.
Can I edit it myself?
Yes, with the optional self-service editor. Log in and change text, photos, prices, and hours instantly, without being able to break the design. Or send it through our change-request form and we make the change for you within two business days, included in your care allowance.
Is this a template?
No. The foundation under every site is the same, which is why we can build in a week. The design on top is drawn for your business, and it can go as far as you like: animation, effects, custom illustration. Crystal Cut Studios in the portfolio is what that looks like when a client says yes to all of it.
Do I own the site?
Yes. Ownership transfers when the build fee is paid, or after twelve monthly subscription payments. After the minimum term, you can leave with the design, content, and code.
Do you work with businesses outside your area?
Yes. We are based in Greenville, South Carolina, and work with businesses anywhere. Everything happens over email and video: the brief, the design review, and the revisions. Nothing in the build needs us in the same room, so where you are makes no difference to the timeline or the price.
